Since 2006 Initiative Mittelstand assigns to the most innovative and me-suited products and solutions the Innovation Award. In the edition 2008 the jury, composed by journalists, experts and scientists, awarded a total amount of 150.000 € to 33 companies based in the german speaking countries, divided into 33 categories, from consulting to web 2.0.
